Puri: A woman was killed while as many as five houses were gutted in fire in a village in Odisha’s Puri district today.

The mishap took place at Ramchandrapur village under Delang block in the district.

Sources said the fire occurred when a lamp kept lit in the house fell and the flames spread at the place.

However, the exact reason of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
