Woman detained for distributing money among voters in Odisha’s Balasore

Balasore: Police today detained a woman for allegedly distributing money among voters at Adivasi Sahi in Ward No. 1 of Odisha’s Balasore town when voting for the bypoll to the Balasore Sadar constituency was underway.

According to reports, locals gheraoed the woman when she was distributing cash along with her supporters. They later informed the police about the incident.

The woman hailing from Mayurbhanj district was being questioned by cops regarding her act.
