Bhubaneswar: A woman died after a Mo Bus (city bus) allegedly hit the two-wheeler she was riding near Delta Square in the capital city here today.

The deceased has been identified as Jayshree Dani (43), a native of Balangir. According to family sources, the accident took place while Dani was returning home at Khandagiri after dropping her husband, a banker, at his workplace near Unit 8 DAV School.

Dani was immediately rushed to Capital Hospital in a critical condition. But she succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment, sources said.

Dani’s husband has lodged a complaint in this regard with Khandagiri police. The police have detained Prakash Kumar Sethi, the driver of the Mo Bus.
