Woman dies of dengue at Odisha’s SCB Hospital

Cuttack: A 60-year-old woman, who was suffering from dengue and undergoing treatment at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Odisha’s Cuttack, died today.

The deceased has been identified as Debaki Behera of Aul area in Kendrapara district. She was admitted in the ICU of the Dengue Ward of the hospital since July 29. However, she breathed her last around 5 am this morning.

Notably, this is the first case of a person’s death due to dengue at the hospital, this year. She was also suffering from multiple organ failure, hospital authorities said.
