Woman employee of Balangir Municipality found dead near waste management plant

Balangir: A woman employee of the Balangir Municipality was found dead near a waste management plant at Bijakhaman here, today.

The deceased was identified as Ashtami Bakul. She was working as a driver of waste management vehicle.

Police have recovered the blood-soaked body of the woman and started an investigation into the incident to ascertain the circumstances under which she died.

According to reports, she went missing last evening while returning home on a bicycle after parking a waste management vehicle.

Though the reason behind the death was yet to be ascertained, it is being suspected that she was attacked by miscreants as her body bore injury marks.
