Woman found dead in river at Cuttack’s Bidanasi

Cuttack: Body of a woman was found floating in river near NCC ghat at Bidanasi in Odisha’s Cuttack city, today.

Locals initially spotted the body and informed the police about the incident. Cops have recovered the body and sent it to the SCB Medical College and Hospital here for post-mortem.

Till last reports came in, the identity of the deceased was yet to be established.

The cause of the death can be known after submission of the autopsy report, police said.
