Woman found hanging at in-laws’ house in Odisha’s Sonepur

Sonepur: Body of a 25-year-old woman was found hanging under mysterious circumstances at her in-laws’ house at Gandhinagar under Binika police limits in Odisha’s Sonepur district, today.

The deceased has been identified as Deepa Sindhria. Though the reason behind the death of the woman is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that she committed suicide by hanging herself over family dispute.

According to reports, Deepa was staying at her father’s place following a dispute with her husband Sonu Sindhria. However, she had returned to her in-laws’ house yesterday and was found dead this morning.

Police have recovered the body for post-mortem and started investigation into the incident.
