Woman killed, 2 critical as ambulance hits truck in Odisha’s Jajpur

Jajpur: An 108-ambulance hit a truck from rear killing a woman and injuring two others, including her eight-month-old baby boy, at Dala Chhak under Jajpur Road police limits in Odisha, late last night.

The ill-fated ambulance, carrying the woman and her baby, dashed against a stationary truck which was parked on roadside. While the woman died on the spot, the injured ones were rushed to the Jajpur Road hospital.

They were later shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack as their condition deteriorated. On the other hand, police have recovered the body and started investigation.
