Woman, kin die after falling into well in Odisha

Dhenkanal: In a tragic incident, two persons, including a woman died after falling into a well at Guagoria village under Rasol police limits in Dhenkanal district today.

The two deceased have been identified as Nalini Nayak and her relative Akash Nayak.

Sources said the woman accidentally fell into the well on the premises of her house while fetching water from it this morning. Hearing her scream, Akash rushed to the spot and jumped into the well to rescue her. However, both died of asphyxiation inside the well.

Later, the bodies were fished out and sent to hospital for post-mortem.
