Bhubaneswar: A woman was allegedly robbed of her gold ornaments and cash while travelling in a ‘Mo Bus’ in Odisha capital here today.

The incident took place when the victim, a resident of 42 Mouza in Cuttack, was returning to Master Canteen Square in a Mo Bus after undergoing certain treatment in a private hospital at around 2 pm in the afternoon.

The woman got astonished when she spotted her vanity bag unzipped in the midway. She later found that a gold chain, three nose rings and Rs 6,400 in cash were missing from her vanity bag, sources said.

On being informed, Bharatpur police reached the spot and searched all passengers of the Mo Bus to trace the stolen valuables, sources added.

“We could not trace the stolen valuables from any passenger. We are now examining the CCTV footage to get a clue to the incident,” said a police officer.
