Bhubaneswar: A woman Teacher was found hanging in a locked room in Bhubaneswar today afternoon. The deceased, identified as Shabnam Verma was hailing from West Bengal.

She was working as an English Teacher at a private school in Bhubaneswar.

As per reports, the woman Teacher had been staying at a rented flat in Siddheswara Nagar in Bhubaneswar for past one year. Her male friend initially spotted her hanging with a plastic rope from the ceiling.

The woman Teacher’s male friend then told the flat owner about the matter who subsequently informed the police.

After registering a case, the police detained the woman Teacher’s male friend for questioning.
