Woman’s half-burnt body found from garden in Khordha

Khordha: Mystery shrouded the death of a woman, whose half-burnt body was recovered from a garden near Saranai village under Banapur block in Khordha district today.

However, the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained since her upper body has completely been burnt.

Though the exact reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that some miscreants have killed the woman and later set the body on fire with a tyre to destroy evidence.

However, no police official was available to comment on the matter till last reports came in.
