Woman’s skeleton found in Odisha’s Ganjam

Berhampur: Panic spread among locals at Golanthara area in Ganjam district after a human skeleton was found near a roadside today morning.

According to reports, a resident of Golanthara area found the skeleton lying under a bush near Sasanpadar-Mantridi road this morning. As the news spread, the locals rushed to spot to see the skeleton causing crowd.

On receiving information, the Golanthara Police recovered the skeleton and sent it to forensic laboratory of the MKCG Medical College & Hospital in Berhampur for test.

As some bangles and a vanity bag were found near the skeleton, it is suspected that the skeleton belongs to a woman.

The locals suspected that the body was dumped near the road after murder of the woman.

The Golanthara Police has initiated probe into the incident.
