XIMB records 100% summer placement

Bhubaneswar: The Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB), one of the premier B-Schools in the country, has completed the summer placement process for its 2017-19 batch and has achieved 100% placement once again, a press release said today.

Total 470 students – 350 of MBA (Business Management) and 120 of MBA (Human Resource Management) were placed in 150 companies from diverse sectors.

The highest stipend stood at Rs 3 lakhs per month while average and median package were Rs 61,000 and Rs 40,000 respectively.

While 350 students of the Business Management batch got placements in 106 companies, 120 candidates from Human Resources Management were hired by 44 companies, respectively.

As many as 63 new recruiters had come to hire students of Business Management while 29 new companies participated in Human Resource Management stream.

Major recruiters like CBC, Deloitte, EY, ICICI Bank, L&T, PwC, TCS & Tata Steel, Godrej, ITC Limited, DE Shaw, Arcesium, Reliance Industries Limited participated in the placement drive.

Corporates like Wildcraft, Royal Enfield, Microland, Bajaj Auto, Philips Lighting, Britannia Industries, Yes Bank, Titan, Reliance Industries, SBI Life and to name a few had come for the first time to hire students of the premier B-school.
