“I want to pick up talents from Odisha and give them a chance in the entertainment world. The   candidates who have been chosen will still have to compete in the final rounds. We were looking for three very important aspects in the candidates which were: ability to converse in good Hindi, willing to relocate and confidence. I am floored with the energy, innovations, out of the box imagination of these young actors,” said the uber cool Yash.

“I was my mother’s shadow.  Childhood is a cauldron where the personality of a person simmers to ultimately become a potpourri of good and bad qualities which we adults define as maturity. As a child I always saw my mother smiling and whoever came to our house never went back without food. When I was very young I got the most positive energy from the kitchen. Today, my kitchen is the stress buster and I love cooking. I cook everything that I like eating and my favourite is the mutton curry,” he added.

Ace producer Yash  Patnaik wants to hire talents from Odisha. “I will love to take not only actors but writers, technical people, designers and anyone who thinks has some special quality is welcome. I am known as the most accessible producer so it will not be a problem to contact me,” he smiles.

According to Yash creativity is the mix and match of the different emotions which  symbolises the spice of life.Different tastes can be created by mixing different proportions and this he believes is the true essence of storytelling.

In 2011 this smart and handsome producer from Odisha had the guts to challenge Shahrukh Khan for plagiarizing his story concept in the movie RA. Shah Rukh Khan , his production house Red Chillies Entertainment and Eros Entertainment were directed by the High Court to deposit a sum of Rs 1 crore as pay order to the court and then release the movie.
