Bhubaneswar: With the cyclonic circulation now lying over west-central and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal, India Meteorological Department (IMD) today forecasted thunderstorm with lightning and heavy rainfall at one or two places over several districts of Odisha during next 4 days.
In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD said, “Maximum temperatures observed appreciable fall at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha and no large change at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha. They were markedly above normal at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha, appreciably above normal at most of the places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, at a few places over the districts of Interior Odisha and above normal at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.”
The highest maximum temperature of 39.0°C was recorded yesterday at Bhawanipatna and Nuapada and the lowest minimum temperature of 22.7°C was recorded at Boudh in the plains of Odisha.
