YGTTA All Odisha TT: Sushree wins cadet girls’ singles title

Sushree Patnaik of Khurda won the cadet girls singles title and Sikriti Bhagat of Cuttack was runner-up in the round robin league of the 22nd YGTTA All Odisha Open Table Tennis Championship 2014 at the Sachin Tendulkar Indoor Hall at Barabati Stadium here on Saturday.
In the cadet boys’ singles, Lalatendu Patra will meet Sanchit Saha and Sahil Bhuyan will meet Abinash Tripathy in the semi-finals tomorrow.

In the sub junior girls’ singles event, Ananya Basak, Sweta Dash, Payal Pani and Gayatri Maitra entered the semi final after winning their quarter-final events.

In the men’s singles quarter-final, Asif Haque beat D Debadutta Mohanty 4-0, Kallol Ganguly beat Md Azhar 4-2, Sagar Ghatge beat Bikash Singh 4-3 and Tousif Haque beat Saswat Samal 4-2.

In the women’s singles pre-quarter final, Samartha Prusty beat Disha Mishra 4-0, Ananya Basak beat Debsa Patnaik 4-0, Poushali Ghatak beat Gitanjali Hayal 4-1 and Anushka Nayak beat Ankita Senapati 4-2.
