Young couple commits suicide over love failure in Odisha

Sonepur: In a tragic end to a love relationship, a young couple including a 16-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide at Balaranga village under Binika police limits in Subarnapur district.

The deceased duo has been identified as Achit Bhoi (22) and a 16-year-old girl of the same village.

Sources said the two were found lying on the backside of the Achit’s house in critical condition this morning. Though they were rushed to a hospital in Sonepur for treatment, doctors declared them dead.

Sources said the couple took the extreme step last night since Achit’s family members had fixed his marriage with another girl without his consent.

However, Binika police is investigating the incident.
