Young couple found hanging from tree in Odisha’s Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur: A young couple was found hanging from a tree in a cashew orchard at Gumidhara village under Papadahandi block in Nabarangpur district today.

The duo identified as Banabasi Dandasena (20) and Swati Paika (19) is suspected to have committed suicide over love affair.

Sources said the two, who were labourers, were in love relationship for the last two years. However, their family members had been opposing to their relationship due to inter-caste issue.

Today morning, some locals found them hanging from a tree in a nearby cashew orchad and informed the police. However, no police official had reached the spot till last reports came in.
