Young couple found hanging on school premises in Cuttack

Cuttack: A young couple was found hanging on premises of a school in Cuttack Sadar area here in the district today.

The deceased couple is Rudra Prakash Bhoi, son of Raj Kishore Bhoi of Sumandi village, and Sonali Barik, daughter of Ajay Barik of Khalarda village.

The locals recovered the bodies on premises of Shankhatrash High School in Cuttack Sadar.

While the couple is suspected to have hung themselves, their family alleged the death as murder.

Family source said that the bodies of young man and woman were found with hands tied at the school campus. Even the main gate of the school was locked up and a stool was found near the crime site.

Suspecting foul play, school authorities informed the Cuttack Sadar Police about the incident.
