Young Supreme Court Lawyer from Odisha dies of COVID

Bhubaneswar: In massive scale of fatalities due to COVID-19 in second wave of pandemic, a young Supreme Court lawyer from Odisha has died of the deadly virus in Delhi.

Advocate Sachin Das, a resident of Tulasi Nagar area in Berhampur city, was admitted to the Lady Hardinge Medical College and Hospital in Delhi four days ago after being infected with Coronavirus.

While undergoing treatment, his oxygen level dropped, and he breathed his last on Thursday evening.

Condolences poured in from Odias residing in Delhi on sudden demise of the young lawyer.

He is among eminent persons from Odisha residing in Delhi/NCR and second Odia lawyer at the Supreme Court succumbed to COVID in a week.

On April 25, Supreme Court lawyer Manoj Das had passed away due to COVID while undergoing treatment at the Sharada Hospital in Greater Noida.
