Jagatsinghpur:  In yet another shameful incident, a young woman was allegedly gang raped at Marichipur village under Balikuda police limits in Jagatsinghpur district. However, the accused duo has been absconding after the incident.

As per a complaint lodged by woman's mother, when she was on her way to a nearby market to stitch her clothes, the two accused waylaid her and took her to a secluded place before taking turns to rape her.Later, the woman returned to her house and narrated her ordeal to her parents. Thereafter, her mother lodged a complaint at the Balikuda Police station.

After the complaint , the police began an investigation and are on the lookout to nab the two accused-Jituni Behera and his friend, a resident of Astaranga village.
