Young woman’s body found on railway track in Odisha’s Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: Police today recovered body of a young woman from railway track near Dandimal passenger halt (PH) in Dhenkanal district.

The deceased has been identified as Sunita Parida (20), daughter of Hari Parida of Balarampur village in Dhenkanal.

The locals found the body of woman lying on the railway track near Dandimal PH under Odapada block following which they informed the police in the morning.

On receiving information, Jhargadia outpost-incharge Madhav Chandra Nayak reached the site and recovered the body. He sent the body to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), Dhenkanal, for autopsy.

The preliminary investigation suggested that the woman committed suicide. However, the reason behind the woman taking extreme step is still unknown.

Though love affair is thought to be the prime cause behind the incident, the family members of deceased remained silent over the issue.
