The deceased has been identified as Lata, aged about 21 years, daughter of Ladu Nayak of Dekhali village.

According to reports, Lata and her mother had been to their farmland at around 11.00 am on Sunday. After finishing work, Lata went to the Keijodi River, situated around 100 metre away from the farmland, for taking bath. After she did not return for an hour, her mother was quite disturbed.
