Youth Cong activists wave black flags at 3 Odisha Ministers in Bolangir

Bhubaneswar: Youth Congress activists waved black flags at three Odisha ministers during their visit to Bolangir district today.

The Youth Congress activists waved black flags at Water Resources Minister Tukuni Sahu, Labour Minister Sarada Prasad Nayak, Rural Development Minister Pritiranjan Gharai and former Minister Sushant Singh when they were on their way to Titlagarh in Bolangir to participate in an event, sources said.

The Youth Congress activists raised slogans against the ministers to protest against the state government’s alleged failure on various issues concerning the common people in Odisha.

Notably, a group of Youth Congress activists had allegedly hurled eggs at the vehicles of three BJD MLAs during their visit to Narla area of Kalahandi district on September 5.

The Youth Congress activists hurled eggs at the vehicles of Junagarh MLA Dibya Shankar Mishra, Narla MLA Bhupinder Singh and Lanjigarh MLA Pradip Kumar Dishari when they were travelling to Narla to attend a programme of the Kalahandi District Primary School Teachers’ Association on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.

The members of the Youth Congress reportedly protested against the Junagarh MLA for his alleged involvement in the murder of school teacher Mamita Meher in 2021.
