Youth dies after falling into uncovered drain in Odisha’s Puri

Puri: A youth lost his life as he reportedly fell into an open drain near Market Chhak in Odisha’s Puri town, today.

The identity of the deceased was yet to be established.

On being informed, Kumbharpada police reached the spot, recovered the body and started an investigation into the incident to ascertain the circumstances under which he fell into the drain.

The slabs of the drain were removed for cleaning purpose, reports said.
