Youth drowns in sea in Odisha’s Puri

Puri: A youth met watery grave as he drowned in sea in Odisha’s Puri today. The deceased was identified as Vijendra Barik of Jagatpur area in Cuttack.

According to reports, Barik had gone to Puri with some of his friends and was taking bath in the sea near Digabareni Chhak when he went missing.

Life guards present at the beach swung into action rescued him. However, he was later declared dead.
