Youth feared drowned while clicking selfie in Odisha river

Parlakhemundi, Oct 12:

A youth is feared to have drowned in the Mahendra Tanaya river while taking selfie this evening in the southern Odisha town of Parlakhemundi.

The youth identified as Rajesh Patnaik fell into river Mahendra Tanaya after his feet slipped while taking a selfie at the B N Palace ghat, reports said.

Patnaik has gone missing after falling into the river. Fire Brigade personnel have launched a search operation to rescue him, reports added.

He remained untraceable till reports last came in.
