Youth found dead at jetty in Odisha’s Paradip, murder alleged

Paradip: Body of a youth was found at jetty no. 1 of a fishing harbour in Odisha’s Paradip today. The deceased has been identified as Upendra Parida of Tihidi area in Bhadrak district.

According to reports, Upendra, who was working as a fisherman, had gone missing four days ago. Locals spotted the body floating in the water body this morning and informed police. The body was recovered by cops for post-mortem and further investigation is underway.

On the other hand, Upendra’s brother has lodged a complaint with Paradip Marine police alleging that he was murdered.
