Youth found hanging in OYO hotel room in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A youth was found hanging inside a room of an OYO hotel at Khandagiri area here in the city capital today.

The deceased youth has been identified as Durga Prasad Mishra, a resident of Niali in Cuttack district.

According to reports, the youth had visited an OYO hotel with his friends at Jagamara area for birthday celebration. He hanged himself with his female friend’s veil while the latter was inside a washroom.

The friends of the deceased found him hanging inside the room in the morning.

On receiving information, Khandagiri Police reached the OYO hotel and interrogated friends of the deceased to ascertain the reason behind death.

The police seized mobile phone of the deceased youth to get the clue.

However, the family of deceased brought murder allegation.
