Angul: In a brutal killing incident, a youth was hacked to death by his elder brother allegedly over a family feud.

The incident was reported from Sanakerjang village under Nisa Industrial police limits in Angul district. The deceased has been identified as Dilip Nayak (34).

According to source, a heated argument had taken place between Dilip and his elder brother Bansidhar Nayak (45) at home over an issue last night. The incident turned uglier as Bansidhar hit his younger brother with a hatchet out of anger.

Later, Dilip was rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), Angul, where the doctors declared him dead.

On receiving information about the incident, Nisa Industrial police reached the crime site and arrested the accused.
