A youth was brutally killed and thrown near a canal in Bargarh district of Odisha.

The deceased was identified as Pintu Rout (28) of Putelpali village under Bargarh Town police station in the district.

According to reports, some miscreants attacked Pintu with a sharp weapon while he was returning home near Badatikira canal under Atabira police station last night.

After killing, the miscreants threw the dead body wrapping in a blanket near the canal.
