Youth picked up by police dies under mysterious circumstances in Odisha’s Keonjhar

Joda: A youth, who was earlier picked up by police in connection with a case, has died under mysterious circumstances while he was undergoing treatment after suddenly falling sick. The deceased youth was identified as Dinesh Nayak, who belonged to Birikala village under Joda police limits of Keonjhar.

According to a source, Dinesh was taken to a private health facility in Joda town for treatment. However, doctors in the hospital later declared him ‘dead’. The cause of Dinesh’s untimely death has not been ascertained yet. A platoon of force was deployed at the hospital and Joda police station to avert any untoward situation. The youth’s post-mortem will be done in the private health facility later today, the source informed.
