Youth survives croc attack in Odisha’s Kendrapara

Kendrapara: Sarbeshwar Jena, a youth from Indupur village in Kendrapara district today escaped the unyielding jaws of a crocodile by displaying his presence of mind.

While grazing cows near Birupa river bank, a crocodile suddenly attacked Sarbeshwar injuring him profusely. Undeterred by the attack, the youth cried for help. Hearing the scream, villagers from nearby areas ran to the spot and rescued Sarbeshwar.

The youth was rushed to the Indupur Community Health Centre in a critical condition. When his condition worsened, he was shifted to the District Headquarter Hospital.

As per the latest report, condition of Sarbeshwar is stated to be stable.
