Berhampur: A 35-year-old youth of Khallingi village under Patapur police limits in Ganjam district was found floating in Ghodahada river this morning.   

The deceased youth has been identified as Shankar Lenka. However, it is yet to be ascertained whether it is a case of suicide or murder.

As per reports, Shankar went outside last evening and did not return after that. His family members searched for him till late in the night but in vain. This morning, a few villagers spotted the body floating in the river and immediately called up police.

On receiving information, a team of police reached the spot and began investigation.
