Baripada: Half-burnt body of a youth was found on roadside near Dandabosa village in Rairangpur area of Odisha's Mayurbhanj district today.

The circumstances under which the youth was charred to death is yet to be ascertained. It is suspected that he was murdered and the body was set on fire along with paddy straw heap to eliminate evidence.

On being informed, police reached the spot and initiated investigation. A blood-stained rock has been found at the spot.

Till last reports came in, the identity of the deceased was yet to be established.
