Over 30 hurt in Odisha road mishap

More than 30 passengers were injured, four of them seriously, when a private bus in which they were travelling, was collided head-on with a truck near Jhargadia in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district on late Tuesday night.

According to reports, a private bus, Gopinath Travels, carrying over 50 passengers, was on the way to Dharmagarh from Bhubaneswar on Tuesday night when it collided head-on with a coal laden truck near Jhargadia on the outskirts of Dhenkanal on National Highway-55.

Following information, Dhenkanal Sadar Police rushed to the spot and admitted the injured to the district headquarters hospital where the condition of four passengers was stated to be critical.
