Academic calendar for UG, PG students released in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: As  universities and degree colleges across the state are set to reopen for physical classes of UG and PG students from February 10,  the Higher Education Department has released the academic calendar for 2020-21.

The physical classes will be held on regular basis to cover all chapters of the syllabus irrespective of coverage of some chapters through online.

Earlier in the day, Higher Education Minister Arun Sahoo informed that  classes of PG First Year and UG Pre-Final Year students will resume from February 10.

He said students will be given permission to stay in hostels from February 8. COVID-19 protocols will be mandatorily followed in both classrooms and hostels. Authorities of respective educational institutions have been asked to ensure that students, lecturers and all other staff wear mask, maintain social distancing, use sanitizer and wash hands frequently.
