Active COVID cases in Odisha near 1500 with 245 new cases

Bhubaneswar: Active COVID-19 cases in Odisha reached close to 1500-mark and stood at 1490 as 245 more persons tested positive for the virus during the last 24 hours.

Out of the 245 cases, 41 are children below 18 years of age. Khurda district registered highest number of cases with 135 fresh infections.

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 1290783.
