Actor Raimohan was possibly battling depression: Top cop

Bhubaneswar: While the reason behind noted Ollywood actor Raimohan Parida ending his life is still unclear, Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh today informed that he was apparently battling depression.

Briefing mediapersons here, the senior cop said prima facie, it appears that the actor was under mental pressure. However, his family members, relatives, neighbours and driver are being interrogated in connection with the incident.

“We have also seized the late actor’s mobile phone, from which we might get some leads. The Inspector In-Charge of Mancheswar Police station is investigating the incident from various angles,” said the DCP.

On June 24, the actor and Jatra artiste was found hanging at his residence at Prachi Vihar here. He is survived by wife and two daughters.
