Additional SP Trinath Mishra in Odisha Vigilance net over DA

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance officials today raided multiple places in connection with allegation against Trinath Mishra, Additional SP, Communication, regarding possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

On the strength of warrant issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack, sleuths of the anti-corruption agency carried out simultaneous searches at flat no. 2/25, Manorama Estate, Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar; paternal house located at village Dabugaon, Nabarangpur; residential building of Late Pramod Kumar Choudhary (in-law’s house) located at village Khaira, Jajpur; farmhouse namely Shantilata Farm House located at Teligarh, Jajpur; Shantilata Care and Nursing Home along with medicine shop at Dhanamandal, Chandikhol Bazar; Shantilata Transport near Shantilata Care, Chandikhol; Shantilata Transport located at Dhanamandal, Chandikhol; house of driver of the accused located at village Dalei Ghai, Jagatsinghpur; drug manufacturing unit of his sons located at Mahanadi Vihar, Cuttack; office of the accused located at Tulasipur, Cuttack; and government quarters at Madhupatna, Cuttack.

As many as 3 Additional SPs, 10 DSPs, 13 Inspectors and other staff of the Vigilance were part of the searches.

Till last reports came in, the raids were underway while calculation of total value of his movable and immovable properties was yet to be completed.
