Aryan Khan drug case: Two accused from Odisha were in possession of drugs

Bhubaneswar/Mumbai: A day after another eight persons including two from Odisha were arrested in the Cordelia cruise ship rave party case involving Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) today revealed more details about the case.

Manish Rajgaria, one of the accused from Rourkela, was in possession of Hydroponic Weed also known as multi-strain cannabis. In a statement, the NCB Mumbai said Rajagaria was invited as a guest in the ship and the contraband item was recovered from him.

The agency further stated Avin Sahu, who hails from Rourkela Township, sailed in the Cordelia cruise ship and has been arrested on drug consumption charges.

Earlier in the day, families of both the accused from Odisha denied involvement of the duo in drug peddling.

The Esplanade Court in Mumbai on Monday extended, till October 7, the NCB custody of Aryan Khan – son of Shah Rukh Khan and producer Gauri, following his arrest after the rave party aboard the luxury cruise ship off Mumbai coast was busted on October 2 night.

Besides, the court also sent two co-accused Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchant, who were arrested along with Aryan, to the custody of NCB till October 7.

The NCB Mumbai said its team raided international cruise terminal Green Gate Mumbai and Cordelia Cruise ship and intercepted eight persons on the spot along with various drugs like cocaine, charas, MDMA.
