Butterfly with pattern of Lord Jagannatha’s face spotted in Odisha village

Tentulikhunti: Hundreds of villagers made a beeline to the house of one Bhimsen Bisoyi at Dengapadar village under Tentulikhunti block of Nabarangpur district today to witness a butterfly with the pattern of Lord Jagannatha’s face.

As the news about the rare butterfly’s presence at the house of Bhimsen broke out, people gathered at his place and worshipped the insect with the pattern of Lord Jagannatha’s face. They blew conchs and offered flowers to the insect.

Initially, family members of Bhimsen spotted the rare butterfly at his garden. They brought the butterfly to the house and worshipped it.

A local said, “I am so delighted that the Lord Jagannatha descended on Dengapadar village. The villagers are extremely happy finding the Lord of Universe close to their place.”
