CARE Hospitals organises Walkathon on World Stroke Day in Bhubaneswar, Paradeep

Brisk walking for just 20 minutes a day can help fight many chronic diseases.

Bhubaneswar: On the occasion of World Stroke Day, CARE Hospitals organised a long series of ‘Health Walks’ in order to raise awareness on Brain Health in Paradeep.

Prof (Dr) Ashok Mohapatra (Former Director – AIIMS BBSR and Former Chief – Neuroscience Center – AIIMS New Delhi), Dr. SS Jena (Sr. Consultant – Neurology), Dr. Susant Das (Sr. Consultant – Neurosurgery) and Kislay Anand (HCOO – CARE BBSR) flagged off the walkathon from Bhubaneswar.

Dharmesh Choudhary GM HR, Bhaskar Hajarika GM HR and other members of IOCL Paradeep Refinery, Dr. Deepak Parida (Sr. Consultant –Neurosurgery), Dr. Mitalee Kar (Consultant – Neurology), Dr. Lokanath Dash (GM – BD) from CARE Hospitals flagged off from Paradeep.

 

Kislay Anand, Hospital Chief Operating Officer CARE Hospitals, Bhubaneswar said, “This is a big initiative, and we at CARE Hospitals have come forward to walk together for good health. I am happy to see that our hospital is contributing to spread awareness among the people and their loved ones to stay healthy and keep fighting against many lifestyle diseases.”

Guests from various locations further added that this is yet another patient-centric step taken by CARE Hospitals for this purpose.
