COVID-19: Record 609 patients cure of infection in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: A record number of 609 COVID-19 patients recovered from the virus infection in Odisha today. With this the total number of recovered cases in the State now stands at 9,864.

A maximum of 268 patients from Ganjam cured of the infection. A total of 135 from Sundargarh, 37 from Khordha, 32 from Cuttack, 25 from Balasore and 23 from Keonjhar districts recovered today.

Similarly, 18 persons from Mayurbhanj, 12 from Bhadrak, 12 from Puri, eight from Sambalpur and seven each from Bargarh and Jagatsinghpur districts recuperated.

Six patients from Jajpur, four each from Jharsuguda and Kendrapara, three from Balangir, two each from Koraput, Nabarangpur and Rayagada and one each from Gajapati and Nayagarh districts recovered from the virus infection.

Official sources said the patients who recovered today are being discharged.
