Delhi schools grab top space in EW India School Rankings 2022-23, Odisha’s Adarsh Vidyalaya at fifth position

Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: Government Schools in the National Capital topped the Education World School Rankings for the year 2022-23 with best State Government School and five of top 10 state government schools of the country being in Delhi. Odisha’s Adarsh Vidyalaya at Hatiota in Ganjam district clinched the fifth rank.

In the rankings for State government schools this year, Delhi’s Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya (RPVV) of Sector -10 in Dwarka and RPVV of Yamuna Vihar grabbed the first and second place, with scores of 1048 and 1045, respectively. RPVV Sector 11 (Rohini) and RPVV Sector 5 (Dwarka) jointly took the 9th position with 995 score followed by RPVV Surajmal Vihar in the 10th rank with 992 score. Odisha’s Adarsh Vidyalaya in Ganjam’s Hatiota scored 1011 at the fifth rank.

Taking to micro-blogging platform Twitter, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal shared the ranking list while congratulating his team for the achievement. “Proud of my Team Education. Once again, Delhi Govt Schools top the Education World School Rankings, with best state govt school in India, and 5 of top 10 state govt schools of the country being from Delhi. Congratulations Team Education on this amazing feat,” he tweeted.

Education World in association with C fore, presents the Education World India School Rankings (EWISR) 2022-23 that rates and ranks India’s best and top schools in over 300 cities. To compile EWISR2022-23, 11,458 sample respondents- educationists, principals, teachers, SECA (socio-economic category A) parents and senior school students in 28 cities worldwide were interviewed by 118 C fore field researchers over a period of four months from June to September. The annual EWISR is the world’s largest school ranking survey.
