East Coast Railway (ECoR) observed the 57th death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr BR Ambedkar as Mahaparinirwan Diwas at its headquarters here on Friday.

Senior officers and staff of ECoR offered floral tributes to Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution and a champion of social justice and empowerment.
ECoR chief personnel officer Mohd Akhtar coordinated the programme.

Mahaparinirwan Diwas was also observed in all the divisional headquarters of ECoR by respective divisional railway managers.
