Heat wave: Red Warning issued for several Odisha districts for today

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heat wave-related Red Warning for several districts of Odisha for today.

Heat wave to severe heat wave condition very likely to prevail over the districts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Jharsuguda, Dhenkanal, Bolangir, Nuapada, and Kalahandi, the agency predicted and issued Red Warning for these districts.

Heat wave condition very likely to prevail over the districts of Sundargarh, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Deogarh, Boudh, Sonepur, Malkangiri, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Khurda, and Nayagarh, it added and issued Orange Warning for these districts.
