ED grills Odisha godman Sarathi Baba’s brother, aide

Enforcement Directorate (ED) today grilled self-styled godman Sarathi Baba alias Santosh Raul’s brother and one of his aides in Odisha capital over financial transactions.

According to sources, the anti-corruption wing sleuths held a marathon interrogation of Debendra Raul and Khagendra Rout alias Khaga at the office here.

The sleuths grilled Debendra Raul for over five hours, sources said.

“I have replied to what was asked to me by ED. I have accumulated wealth from my own business. I have no link with Sarathi,” Debendra said.

If sources are to be believed the ED officials will summon godman’s adopted son Satyam Raul for questioning soon over financial matters related to the Trust among other things.
