Govt Office in Sundargarh sealed after 3 employees test COVID-19 positive

Sundargarh: The Sadar Tehsil Office in Sundargarh district was closed after three of its employees tested positive for COVID-19, the Tehsildar informed today.

A closure notice has been released by the office today for public.

It has been decided to close the Tehsil Office as part of precautionary measures after the COVID test report of three employees came positive, the notice stated.

Meanwhile, the single-day COVID tally has created alarming situation in Sundargarh district. Total 224 fresh infections have been detected from the district in the last 24 hours.

The night curfew is already in force and police are enforcing the COVID norms in the district.
